Brand Check keeps your documents compliant by verifying that every asset you've used is current and approved. Each asset gets one of four statuses:
- On Brand: The asset is brand-approved (it's in your Brand Panel) and up to date.
- Up to Date: The asset was found in your DAM, PIM, MAM or cloud storage and is the latest version.
- Outdated: The asset was found in your DAM, PIM, MAM or cloud storage, but a newer version exists.
- Not Found: The asset wasn't found in any connected DAM, PIM, MAM or cloud storage.
Filter by status
Use the filters at the top to show only the assets with a specific status.
Update assets
To update several assets, select the checkbox next to each one and click Update selected.
To update a single asset, click it to open its properties. If the asset is outdated, an Update button appears in the bottom-right corner. Click it to update that asset on its own. If you pick a different rendition for an asset that’s already up to date, the Update button also appears in the bottom-right corner, so you can apply the new rendition.
To update every flagged asset at once, click Replace All.
Asset actions
Each asset has these actions:
- Open in Asset Explorer: Shows the asset in the Asset Explorer.
- Open in DAM: Opens the asset in its source system.
- Add to Favorites: Saves the asset to your favorites.
- Add to Space: Adds the asset to a space.
View asset properties
When you click an asset from the list, it’s selected in your document, so you can see exactly where it’s placed and work with it directly. You can also see quick details about the selected asset, such as its rendition and versions.
To change the asset’s rendition, select a different rendition and click Update.
Refresh
Click Refresh anytime to re-run the Brand Check and confirm everything is up to date.
