Bright AI chat is an AI assistant built into the CI HUB Brand Connector. You ask it in plain language, and it works with the connected systems you have without you leaving your design tool.
With Bright AI chat you can:
- Find assets by topic, name, type, size or folder, across one or all of your connected systems
- Browse folders and get a summary of what a folder contains
- Inspect metadata and get an asset's original file reference
- Manage content: rename assets, create folders or delete items in a connected system
- Brainstorm and write, for example campaign ideas, posts or newsletter copy
Where to find Bright AI Chat
Open the CI HUB Brand Connector, then click the Bright AI Chat icon (the Bright elephant) in the left navigation of the plugin.
At the top of the chat you'll find three buttons:
The Prompts button (bookmark icon) opens the Prompt Library with your saved prompts. The Conversations button shows your recent chats so you can reopen, rename, favorite or delete them. The + button starts a new chat.
How to use Bright AI Chat
Ask a question
- Type your request in the Ask Bright AI Chat… field at the bottom, or click one of the suggested prompts.
- Press the send arrow.
- Bright AI Chat answers in the chat. Asset names in the answer appear as clickable chips, and found assets are shown as cards with a thumbnail, the file name, the source system and the folder path.
Choose which systems to search
When Bright AI Chat works with your content, it shows a chip for each connected system. Pick one system, or choose Use All to work across all of them.
Work with the results
- Ask follow-up questions in the same chat, for example to open a folder, find a specific file or get its original file reference.
- Select any asset from the results and use it in your document in any of its available renditions.
- Click Show all… to see every image when a result contains more than a few.
- Click Refresh above a result to reload it.
- Use the copy icon under any message to copy it.
Choose the AI model
Click the model selector (Bright AI model) next to the send arrow, then Model settings:
The Bright AI model is CI HUB's own model and includes 5 free requests per day. To use OpenAI or Anthropic (Claude), turn the option on and add your own API key. Google Gemini is coming soon. For Mistral, Other or a Custom model, click Request to ask CI HUB for access.
Manage your conversations
Click Conversations at the top of the chat to see your recent chats with their date and time. From there you can:
- Click a conversation to reopen it
- Rename it with the pencil icon
- Favorite it with the heart icon
- Delete it with the bin icon
- Start a fresh chat with New Chat
Save prompts you use often
Prompts that work well can be saved and reused from the Prompt Library. Click the Prompts (bookmark) button at the top of the chat to open it.
