The upload feature in the CI HUB Brand Connector lets you easily add assets in your DAM directly from your working environment.
If you have the right permissions, you’ll see an “Add” button wherever assets are displayed, such as in folders, collections, or the Brand Panel. From there, you can upload files either from your computer or directly from the application you’re working in. Depending on the app, you may also choose what to upload (for example, a full design or a selection) and in which format.
You can also use drag and drop. Just drag your files into a valid area, and they will upload. If your DAM requires extra information (like metadata), a dialog will appear so you can fill it in before completing the upload.
Before uploading, you can review your files in the upload list. Here, you can rename a file or remove it if needed.
While files are uploading, you’ll see a progress indicator showing how much is done. Once finished, the view refreshes and your new assets appear right away.
If you don’t have upload permissions, the upload options will be disabled.
Overall, the feature is designed to make adding assets quick and straightforward, while still respecting your organization’s permissions.
