Canva: Video File Support
You can now work with video files directly in Canva through the CI HUB connector. This feature allows you to browse, insert, and upload videos between Canva and your connected DAM, PIM or cloud storage system, while ensuring compatibility and size limits are respected to avoid failed or missing assets.
When browsing your DAM, PIM or cloud storage system, supported video formats like MP4 and MOV are displayed alongside other assets. Each video shows useful details such as its duration and file size (when available), so you can quickly decide if it fits your needs.
To ensure a smooth experience in Canva, size limits are taken into account. Videos under 1000 MB can be added to your design without any issue. If a video exceeds 1000 MB, a warning is displayed to let you know it’s not supported by Canva, and the option to add it to your design will be disabled. This helps prevent videos from failing or disappearing after insertion.

Uploading Videos
In addition to browsing and inserting videos, you can also upload videos to your DAM, PIM or cloud storage system:
- Upload directly from your active Canva design
- Upload from File System
- Send videos to any connected system via the CI HUB connector
