How to Add a New Connection in Canva

Introduction

Connecting your files from a DAM, PIM, or cloud storage system to Canva through the CI HUB Connector makes it easy to use your assets right inside your designs. This guide shows you, step by step, how to set up a new connection in Canva.

Adding a New Connection

Once you are logged in through the CI HUB Connector, you will be redirected to the Connections tab, where you can find a list of available connections. You can browse the list or use the search bar to quickly find the integration you want by typing keywords. The list will dynamically update to show matching connections.

When you find the DAM, PIM, or cloud storage system you want to connect, click on it and log in with your username and password. You'll be taken to a login page, just click Continue, then enter your details. Once you're logged in, that connection will show up under Active Connections

If the connection you're looking for isn't available yet, just click the link provided and fill out a short form to request it.

Accessing and Managing Your Assets

Once you've added a new connection, you can access the Assets section, where your assets are organized into folders for easy navigation. Use the search bar to quickly find specific files or resources. You can also preview your assets directly in Canva, making it simple to choose the right one for your project.

With the new connection, you can seamlessly drag and drop assets into your designs, customize them as needed, and streamline your creative workflow.
