The CI HUB Connector for Salesforce includes all the familiar features you know, plus a powerful tool called the Asset Cropper that makes working with images much easier.
With the Asset Cropper, you can adjust an image before placing it into your layout.
To use it:
- Right-click on an asset
- Select “Crop and Place”
- The image will open in the cropper tool
In the cropper, you can:
- Adjust the visible area by dragging the frame or entering exact pixel values
- Choose which rendition of the image to use
- Set custom dimensions and ratios (make sure ratios are linked to avoid distortion)
You also have layout options:
- Enable “Fit container” to automatically adjust the image to its frame
- Disable it if you want to manually position the image (left, center, or right)
Before placing the image, you can:
- Use Preview to check how it will look (especially helpful for large files)
- Click Apply to insert it into your layout
If you need to make changes later:
- Click Edit on the placed asset
- The cropper will reopen with your previous settings (as long as the asset is still linked)
