Getting Started with the CI HUB Connector for SharePoint
After launching the CI HUB Connector, the first step is to restore your connections.
Click “Load Profile” to reload your previously saved connections. Any connections secured with a password will be imported automatically.
Keep in mind that the CI HUB Connector (for both SharePoint and WordPress) fully reloads every time it starts. This means all connections are rebuilt, which may take a few moments depending on how many connections you have.

Using the Connector in SharePoint
Once your connections are loaded, you can start working with the CI HUB Connector in SharePoint. The interface is similar to the WordPress connector, but with fewer features.
Adding Assets to the Document Library
You can upload assets directly to a SharePoint document library:
- Select the asset you want to use
- Click “Place”
The asset will then appear in your document library.

Using ExCoP in SharePoint
ExCoP is also available in SharePoint and allows you to:
- Check the status of your assets
- Upload SharePoint-only assets to your target system
- Detect newer versions of assets and relink them
Important: ExCoP only shows assets from the current document library location. You won’t see assets from other SharePoint sites or libraries. Only the ones in your current view.
💡 Tip: You can enable automatic asset version checking by turning on the Autoselect newest asset version option in the CI HUB Connector Settings. When enabled, ExCoP notifies you whenever a newer version of a linked asset is available in your DAM. You can also enable automatic status checks every ... min to have the connector automatically check the status of linked assets at your preferred time interval. However, relinking assets to the latest version is still a manual action. To update your assets, open ExCoP and either check their status, relink, or update assets individually, or use the Bulk option to perform these actions for all eligible assets with a single click.
