Navigating in CI HUB Connector
After connecting your services, you can manage and navigate them easily within the CI HUB Connector interface.
Managing Your Connections
Under the Connections toggle, you will find all connected asset databases.

Use the blue checkbox to activate or deactivate a connection.

If multiple databases are connected, it is recommended to activate only the ones you need for your current task. This helps keep your workspace organized and efficient.

Accessing Connected Services
To browse your connected databases:

Open the Navigation toggle.

Select a connection (for example, Google Drive).

Click on the connection name to access its content.

Hover over the connection name to view all active services and quickly switch between them.
Understanding Folder Navigation (Breadcrumbs)
CI HUB Connector always shows your current location within the folder structure.

The folder path appears on the same line as the connected database.

Folder levels are separated by a forward slash (
/). -
This type of navigation is called breadcrumbs.
Breadcrumbs allow you to:

See exactly where you are within the folder hierarchy.

Hover over a folder to preview its subfolders.
-
Quickly select and open another folder without navigating step by step.

Navigation Buttons Explained
To the right of the Navigation toggle, you will find several navigation buttons. These control the available functions within this area.
CI HUB Connector offers the following options:
Bin: Deletes the folder you are currently in.
Note: This only works if the folder is empty.
Add Folder: Creates a new folder in the current directory.
Similarity Search: Search for images with similar content based on a selected asset in a connected stock system (e.g., Adobe Stock).
Links: Displays an overview of all assets linked in the current document and shows their status.
Folder Navigation: Returns you to the folder navigation view if it is currently hidden.
Search: Use the powerful CI HUB Connector search to:

Find assets within your connected databases

Search stock image providers such as Unsplash or Adobe Stock
More Information: Throughout CI HUB Connector, you may notice an “i” icon next to certain elements.
This indicates that additional information is available.

In the navigation search field, clicking the “i” displays a tooltip explaining the available search options for the current service.

For certain providers, clicking the “i” will redirect you to their official support page for further assistance.
