Supported Browsers and Application Versions

This article explains which browsers and app versions work with CI HUB Connectors, so you know what to expect depending on how you're using them.

Using CI HUB Connectors Inside Desktop Apps

Most of the time, you'll use CI HUB Connectors inside a desktop app, like Adobe apps, Microsoft Office apps, or the Figma desktop app.

In these cases, you don't need to worry about choosing a browser. The connector runs inside the app itself, using a built-in browser that the app manages for you.

Using CI HUB Connectors in a Web Browser

In some cases, CI HUB Connectors run directly in your web browser, for example, with CI HUB Connector for Canva or CI HUB Connector for Salesforce.

In these cases:

• Internet Explorer is not supported
• All modern browsers work, but for the best experience, we recommend a Chromium-based browser, such as:
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Brave
  • Other Chromium-based browsers

We also support:

• Mozilla Firefox
• Apple Safari

How Old Can Your Browser Be?

We support browser versions released within the last 24 months.

This means:

• If your browser is older than that, we can't guarantee everything will work properly
• This applies to all browsers listed above

Keeping your browser updated helps ensure the best performance and fewer issues.

How Old Can Your App Be?

The same rule applies to the apps you use CI HUB with (like Adobe, Microsoft Office, or Google Drive on macOS): we support versions released within the last 24 months.

Older versions might still work, but we can't officially guarantee they will, and you may run into unexpected problems.
