Supported Browsers and Application Versions
This article explains which browsers and application versions are supported by CI HUB Connectors, and what to expect depending on where you use them.
Using CI HUB Connectors Inside Desktop Applications
In most cases, CI HUB Connectors are used inside host desktop applications, such as Adobe applications, Microsoft Office applications, Figma desktop app, etc.
In these environments, the browser is not chosen by the user. The connector runs inside the application’s embedded browser, which is managed by the host application itself.
Using CI HUB Connectors in a Web Browser
In some cases, CI HUB Connectors run directly in a web browser, for example CI HUB Connector for Canva, CI HUB Connector for Salesforce, etc.
For these scenarios:

Internet Explorer is not supported

All modern browsers are supported, but we recommend using a Chromium-based browser for the best experience (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Other Chromium-based browsers)
We also support:

Supported Browser Versions
We only support browser versions released within the last 24 months.
This means:

If you are using a browser version older than 24 months, we cannot guarantee proper functionality

This rule applies to all supported browsers
Keeping your browser up to date ensures the best performance and compatibility.
Supported Application Versions
The same 24-month support rule applies to host applications (Adobe applications, Microsoft Office applications, Google Drive on macOS, etc)
We support versions that were released within the last 24 months. Older versions may continue to work, but are not officially supported and may lead to unexpected issues.
