When you click on a file, the Details area opens at the bottom of the plugin. It shows you some basic information right away, like:
- The file's name
- How big the file is
- Keywords attached to the file
- The file's dimensions (width × height)
The Details area gives you a structured overview of the asset’s metadata, which you can tailor to your needs.
Changing What You See
Want to see different information? Just click the gear icon on the right side. From there, you can:
- Turn certain information on or off
- Drag and drop to change the order things appear in
Available Actions
The Details Area also includes a menu with several actions:
Open in browser – Opens the selected asset in the web interface of the connected system.
Use file – Places the selected asset into your current layout.
Update file – Uploads the current version of the asset back to the connected system.
Similarity search – Searches the active database for visually similar assets. To start, select an asset in CI HUB Connector Professional and initiate the search.
Lock asset – Reserves the selected asset. This action “freezes” the asset’s current status. Locking behavior depends on the connected system. Please refer to the respective system documentation for details.
Delete asset – Permanently deletes the selected asset.
