To open ExCoP, click the link icon in the main navigation menu. This opens the Link Overview at the bottom of the panel.
At the top, you'll see which system is being used to check your links (for example, a DAM, PIM, or cloud storage system). You can also see which system each file originally came from.
The InDesign document itself appears first in the list and is treated as a file, just like the others.
On the right side of the panel, you'll find a few actions you can use on multiple files at once:
Add: Add the selected asset to the active system.
Update: Update the asset if a newer version is available.
Check Status: Check the current status of your assets.
If you see a blue status icon, it means that file hasn't been checked yet.
Below this, you'll see all the files linked inside your InDesign document. The same actions (Add, Update, Check Status) work here too. You can also link files directly to the DAM, PIM, or cloud storage system they originally came from, using the CI HUB Connector.
To see more details about a file, click the white arrow next to it. This opens extra information about that file.
With the CI HUB Connector, you can easily work with files from different sources, like a DAM, PIM, or cloud storage system, all within the same document.
