The Result Pane
When navigating through folders or performing a search, your results are displayed directly in the Result Pane below.
CI HUB Connector offers three different views to display your content:
1. Tile View (Default)
Tile View is the default view in CI HUB Connector. It displays assets such as documents and images in a visual, light table–style layout, while folders remain in list view.
This is the only view where you can adjust the preview size of your assets from S to XXL using the gear wheel icon on the right. This allows you to decide whether you want to see more assets at once or fewer assets with larger previews and more visible detail.
When selecting an asset, a Details toggle appears at the bottom of the pane. Here you can view key metadata such as:
-
Name
-
File size
-
Dimensions (width × height)
-
Modification date
Extended Rights Indicator
Assets with Extended Rights information display a small clock icon in the top-right corner of the asset preview.
When hovering over the clock icon, the following rights information is shown:
-
Use From date
-
Use Till date
-
Publish From date
-
Publish Till date
The color of the clock icon indicates the asset’s current rights status:
-
Green – The asset is currently within its valid usage period.
-
Yellow – The “Use Till” date is approaching soon.
-
Red – The “Use Till” date has expired.
This visual indicator helps you quickly identify whether an asset can still be used.
Additional Tile View Settings
Click the gear wheel icon to access the following options:
Folder Settings
Show or hide folders to improve overview, especially in directories with many folders and assets.
Tile Settings
-
Show or hide image names below the asset.
-
Choose whether to display the file name or the asset title.
Tooltip Settings
Enable or disable the Rendition note.
When enabled, two green document icons appear on assets. Hover over them to see whether the image was placed as the original file or, for example, as a low-resolution version.
Preview Size
Adjust how large assets are displayed.

2. List View
List View displays assets in a structured table format. This view is particularly helpful when working with many items in one directory.
Metadata is displayed in columns, making it easier to compare assets at a glance.
Click the gear wheel icon to customize the view:
Folder Settings
Show or hide folders for better clarity.
Tooltip Settings
Same functionality as in Tile View.
Column Selection
Choose exactly which metadata fields you want to display (for example, name and file size only).
You can add or remove columns as needed.
Sort and Rearrange Columns
-
Sort assets in ascending or descending order by clicking a column title (indicated by an arrow).
-
Rearrange columns using drag & drop within the Column Selection settings.

3. Details View
Details View shows a large preview of the selected asset with detailed metadata displayed underneath.
You will find a Basic toggle, which displays essential metadata.
Additionally, you can access:
-
XMP metadata
-
EXIF metadata
Double-clicking an asset will also open the Details View.
All available metadata is clearly structured and listed separately.

Additional Actions in the Result Pane
In addition to the view options, the following icons are available:
Reload Folder: Refresh the folder contents.
For performance reasons, CI HUB Connector caches results. Use this button when new items have been added.
CSV Export: Select one or multiple assets and export all metadata to a CSV file.
The CSV file:
-
Includes all metadata fields
-
Includes the asset path (important for data merge workflows)
-
Is saved to the local folder defined in your CI HUB Connector settings
Currently, CSV Export is available for Dropbox, CELUM, and Sharedien.
Add File: Upload a new or updated file to your asset database (DAM system).
Possible use cases include:
-
Uploading complete composite documents (.indd, Word, .ai, .ps, .pptx)
-
Uploading a single asset from within a document
-
Uploading files from your local disk
-
Uploading with a PDF option
Note: The functionality of “Add File” may vary depending on the application.
For example, in Figma or Sketch, this feature can also be used to convert a selected item into a specific file format (such as PNG or SVG).
