Working with Decks in the CI HUB Connector for PowerPoint Pro

The CI HUB Connector Professiona helps you store, organize, and reuse your digital files in one place. With CI HUB Connector Pro for PowerPoint, you can do all of this right inside PowerPoint. This guide shows you how to use the CI HUB Connector Professionaltogether with your DAM, PIM, MAM or cloud storage system to keep all your PowerPoint decks, slides, and templates organized in one central place. 

Saving a PowerPoint Deck

Save your presentation so it's stored safely and easy to find later:

1. Click the "Add File" button in the CI HUB Connector Professional.
2. In the window that opens, select "Active PowerPoint Document" under "Files from."
3. Pick the presentation you currently have open from the list.
4. (Optional) Give the file a new name using the "File Name" box.
5. Click confirm to save it.

Your presentation is now stored and organized, and you never had to leave PowerPoint.

Adding Slides to an Existing Presentation

Reuse slides you already have by pulling them into your current presentation in just a few clicks:

1. Go to the folder in the CI HUB Connector Professional where your slides are saved.
2. Click on the file you want.
3. Right-click it and choose "Slides (Import)."
4. The slides will drop straight into your open presentation.

Good to know:

• If the file has more than one slide, all of them will be added.
• You can repeat these steps as many times as you like to keep adding more slides.

Applying Themes to a Presentation

Copy the design from an older presentation onto a new one in seconds:

1. Open a new or existing PowerPoint file.
2. In the CI HUB Connector Professional, find the presentation that has the design you like.
3. Right-click it and select "Apply Theme."

This lets you:

• Reuse a design you already love
• Keep your branding consistent across all your presentations
• Combine templates or master slides

Important:
If both files contain identical elements, duplicates may appear after merging.
