Working with Decks in the CI HUB Connector for PowerPoint Pro
The CI HUB Connector is a powerful solution for managing and organizing digital assets. With CI HUB Connector Pro for PowerPoint, this functionality is fully integrated into your presentation workflow. This guide explains how to use the connector in combination with your cloud storage to create and manage a centralized repository for PowerPoint decks, slides, and master templates.
Saving a PowerPoint Deck
To save a PowerPoint presentation directly to your connected source system:
- Click the “Add File” button within the CI HUB Connector panel.
- In the dialog window, select “Active PowerPoint Document” under the “Files from” section.
- Choose the currently open presentation from the dropdown list.
- (Optional) Rename the file using the “File Name” field.
- Confirm your selection to upload the file.
This allows you to quickly store and organize your presentations without leaving PowerPoint.

Adding Slides to an Existing Presentation
You can easily insert slides from previously saved presentations into your current document:
- Navigate to the folder in the CI HUB Connector where your slide assets are stored.
- Select the desired PowerPoint file.
- Right-click the file and choose “Slides (Import)”.
- The slides will be automatically inserted into your active presentation.
Notes:
- If the selected file contains multiple slides, all slides will be imported.
- You can repeat this process to add as many slides as needed.

Applying Themes to a Presentation
To apply the design of an existing presentation to a new or empty file:
- Open a blank or existing PowerPoint document.
- In the CI HUB Connector, locate the presentation containing the desired theme.
- Right-click the file and select “Apply Theme”.
This feature allows you to:
- Reuse existing presentation styles
- Apply consistent branding across decks
- Merge master slides or templates
Important:
If both files contain identical elements, duplicates may appear after merging.
