CI HUB Connector Professional: Working with Sketch

CI HUB Connector Professional lets you access and use assets from your connected DAM, MAM, PIM, or cloud storage systems directly in Sketch. Because working with CI HUB Connector Professional in Sketch is similar to working with it in Figma, this guide focuses on the setup and features that are specific to Sketch.

Getting Started

Before using the CI HUB Connector Professional in Sketch, install the CI HUB Connector plugin. You can follow the step-by-step guide here:

Once installed, you'll find the plugin here:
Plugins → CI HUB Connector

Open the plugin, then click Load profile to bring back the DAM, PIM, MAM or cloud storage systems you already connected. Want to connect a new one? Just click Add new connection.

The CI HUB Connector Professional opens as a small window that you can drag anywhere on your screen. For the best experience, place it on the left or right side of your Sketch window, and make the Sketch window a bit smaller so you can see both at the same time.

Using Style Names with Images 

In Sketch, you can attach an image to a piece of text and save that look as a text style.

When you do this, the name of the text style gets saved inside the image's information, so you can easily tell which image belongs to which style.

The CI HUB Connector Professional will also show you if an image is linked to a text style, and which style it is.
