Getting Started with the CI HUB Connector Professional for WordPress
WordPress is one of the most popular tools for building and running websites. With the CI HUB Connector Professional, you can do more than just manage your site, you can also reach all your files and images without ever leaving WordPress.
The CI HUB Connector Professional lets you bring in files from your DAM, PIM, MAM cloud storage, or stock photo service, the same ones you might already use in apps like Adobe Creative Cloud or Microsoft Office. This means you can find what you need and add it to your page, all from inside WordPress.
Step 1: Install the CI HUB Connector Professional Plugin
Before you can use the CI HUB Connector Professional, you'll need to add the plugin to WordPress:
- In your WordPress dashboard, click Plugins on the left side.
- Click Add New at the top.
- Type CI HUB into the search box.
- Click Install, then click Activate.
Once it's turned on, you'll find CI HUB Connector Professional inside your Media Library.

Step 2: Open CI HUB Connector Professional and Connect Your DAM, PIM, MAM cloud storage, or stock image service
- Click Media in the WordPress menu.
- Click Add New.
- You'll see a CI HUB button next to the upload button.
- Click it to open the CI HUB Connector Professional.
The first time you open it, log in with your CI HUB account, or create one if you don't have it yet.
After logging in, you can either use your existing connections or set up new ones, for example, your DAM, PIM, MAM cloud storage, or stock photo service. Once connected, all your files will show up right inside WordPress.

Step 3: Using the CI HUB Connector Professional
The CI HUB Connector Professional works the same way in WordPress as it does in other apps. So if you've used it before with Adobe Creative Cloud, it will already feel familiar.
Here's what you can do:
- Look through everything you've connected
- Open folders and browse your files
- Search for what you need and filter the results
- See file details and preview images
- Add files straight into WordPress

Step 4: CI HUB Connector Professional Settings
Click the menu icon in the top right of the CI HUB Connector Professional window to find:
- Information about the CI HUB Connector Professional
- Help and support
- Language options
- How to buy a license
- Restart the connector
- Resize the window

Step 5: Managing Your Assets
Inside the CI HUB Connector Professional, you can also:
- Search across all your connected accounts and stock services
- Upload new files
- Make new folders
- Check file details
- Open a file in its original source
- Add files to WordPress
