Important Update: CI HUB Connector Requires Update Starting October 1st

Starting December 1, 2025, the older versions of the CI HUB Connector for Adobe (v1.2.19 and earlier) will no longer be usable. To continue using the plugin without interruption, please update it to the latest version (1.2.20).

⚠️ Support Timeline: Please note that starting October 14, 2025, we will no longer provide technical support, bug fixes, or security updates for the outdated version of the CI HUB Connector Pro. To ensure uninterrupted use of the plugin and continued access to support and security enhancements, you must update to the latest version before this date.

How to Update the CI HUB Connector

Updating is quick and only takes a few minutes:

  1. Open Adobe Creative Cloud.

  2. Go to Stock & Marketplace

  3. Click Manage Plugins.

  4. Find the CI HUB Connector plugin and click Update.

  5. Confirm the update and wait for the process to complete.

Once finished, you’re ready to go!

Troubleshooting the Update

In most cases, updating via the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App will install the latest version. If you still see the old plugin or encounter issues, here are possible causes and solutions:

  • Company / IT-managed installation (Enterprise deployment):
Your IT team may control plugin versions via the Adobe Admin Console, packaging, or enterprise deployment tools (e.g., Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Jamf). In this case, the update button may not work. Please ask your system administrator to push the update.

  • Manual installation (ZXP Installer or Extension Manager):
If the plugin was installed manually using tools such as ZXPInstaller or Anastasiy’s Extension Manager, old files may remain. Remove them and reinstall the plugin through Creative Cloud, or follow the ZXP reinstall guide:
👉 Install the Pro Connector Extension outside of Adobe CC

  • Old files in the Extensions folder:
Advanced users who manually copied plugin files into Adobe’s extensions directory should remove those old files before updating via Creative Cloud.

  • Golden image setups (company-preconfigured machines):
Your computer may include an outdated plugin version from an IT image. In this case, please contact your system administrator.

Final Recommendation

For smooth updates, we strongly recommend installing and updating the CI HUB Connector exclusively via the Adobe Creative Cloud App.

If you continue to experience issues, please contact CI HUB Support, or reach out to Adobe Support if the issue is related to Creative Cloud.
